  • Sharon told us that she was in St. Louis, Michigan and saw this quilt and siad to the shop owner that it would make a good “chemo” quilt.  The owner of the quilt explained to Sharon that her daughter had been th recipient of one of the Chemo quilts at Breslin and she wanted to donate this quilt that had just been finished.

  • Jan Asmann was challenged to make something that absolute was not her.  So she made this grey quilt.  She went on to explain that the fabrics were purchased in a quilt shop in California that sells fabric very inexpensively.  The sales person did warn Jan that the grey fabric was full price….$3.99 a yard.

  • Billie Piazza started making this string quilt using copy paper rather than newsprint.  She has a brother that has not yet received one of her quilts.  The corner blocks have fabrics that have bicycles, flowers, sailboats, seagulls and tool.  He lives on Mackinaw Island.
