Cindy showing us a quilt made for a friend that has cancer. The quilt has Bob Dillon in the center as her friend is a Dillon Fan. He is also a Simpsons fan and she found some fabric featuring the Simpsons.
Sue Ann Cole showed us a quilt she made for her son. He Designed on EQ7 by Nancy Thelen. Quilted by Quilting by the River.
Carolyn Solomon showed a quilt made by the Scrap Fever group. It is a Quilt of Valor. Blocks by Scrap Fever members, assembled by Pam Marcus, and quilted by John Putnam.
Jan Asmann presented a quilt made from the "Bingo Blocks". The bocks were made by members participating in the bingo-style game played at National Quilt Day. Jan said the blocks were easy to work with as all were the same size and no adjustments necessary.
Jan also showed us a quilt that she made for the upcoming raffle to be sponsored by CCQG. Machine quilted by John Putnam.
Jan Gagliano showed a top that she is donating to Bobbie Slider as one of the Chemo quilts.
Mary Hausauer showed a quilt that is one of the Teal Project quilts. Maker unknown, but Mary was very impressed with the skilled piecing and beauty of the quilt.
Lynn Richardson showed two quilts for the Teal Quilt Project. Nancy Boyse did the quilting. Pattern is from Missouri Star Quilting block books.
Elaine Hewitt is working with Bobbie Slide on the Chemo Quilt project. Many of the blocks were made at the CCQG April retreat. Nancy put the blocks together.
Elaine showed a second quilt. This one was made by Bobbie Slider for the chemo project.
